Back on My Feet is a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of those experiencing homelessness by engaging them in a running program as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.

Back on My Feet has five teams throughout Washington, D.C. that you can join. BoMF partners with facilities in the city that support men and women experiencing homelessness. These facilities range from being Transitional Rehabilitation Programs (TRP), long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment to work/bed programs.  Several of the facilities are operated by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC and by the DC Coalition for the Homeless. 

Each team starts at 5:45am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from their respective location and 7am on Saturdays. Our partnering shelters, and their locations, are listed below.
