SunTrust Rock N Roll USA

We're THRILLED to announce that SunTrust Bank has pledged to match up to $20,000 for all money raised for Back on My Feet DC around the SunTrust Rock 'n' Roll USA Marathon, CareFirst Rock 'n' Rolla USA Half Marathon and Team Relay.

The SunTrust Rock 'n' Roll USA races will help to commemorate the second anniversay of Back on My Feet in DC, and SunTrust is helping to celebrate this accomplishment with its pledge to support BoMF as well as participating in the Back on My Feet DC Blue & Green Birthday Bash!

The race itself is on March 17th and Back on My Feet DC has a number of announcements:

• Thursday March 15th & Friday March 16th: USA Health & Fitness Expo and packet pick- up at the DC Armory – located at 2001 East Capitol St., SE, just a few blocks from the Stadium/Armory metro station located on the blue & orange line. You can pick up your packet as you normally would for any other race!
  • Thursday, March15 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 16 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    • Because this is a government facility all attendees will be required to pass through security to gain access into the building. Please plan for the delay accordingly.
    • Locals, make Thursday YOUR Day! The Expo will be extremely crowded Friday when most out-of-towners arrive.
• Parking & Driving: The closest free parking available is in Lots 7 and 8, adjacent to RFK Stadium. Parking here is open to exhibitors as well as the general public. If you park in the neighborhoods, please be mindful of parking signs. I encourage you to take the metro (Armory Metro stop on the blue/orange lines).
• Saturday March 17th 8:00AM: RACE DAY!!! We have 100 Fundracers and 25 members running the race, which will make for our biggest warm-up circle ever! If you want to meet other FundRacers and members prior to the race, please meet at 6:45am INSIDE the Armory at the Southeast corner in front of the concession stand. We will be there with the Back on My Feet banner warming up at 7:15am.
• Cheer Station & BoMF tent: Keep an eye out for the BoMF CHEER STATION at the intersection of 5th & H St., NE (between miles 11 & 12). If you have friends or family who want to cheer with other BoMF folks, they can meet us there at 9am. We will also have a tent at the finish line in Charity Village…just look for the big foot!
