Clean and Sober Streets

Come run with the Back on My Feet Team at Clean and Sober Streets! BoMF works with the tremendous program Clean and Sober Streets, which operates out of the Federal City Recovery Services at 425 2nd St., NW [Map here].

FACILITY INFORMATION

Clean and Sober Streets is a long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment/rehabilitation for men and women who are willing to recover. The program survives and thrives due to community support from concerned organizations and individuals seeking to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

The Clean and Sober Streets program fosters an alcohol and drug free setting which encompasses much more than just the absence of alcohol and other drugs. It brings together the attitude that a joyful and productive life is possible without alcohol or mood-altering drugs. Since many people suffering from addiction in recovery cannot conceive of a life without drugs, the demonstration of an alcohol/drug-free life is critical.

Clean and Sober Streets has been in operation for over 20 years (opening in 1987) and BoMF is thrilled to be working with their dedicated staff to bring additional resources to the men and women in their program. There is a great need for additional services at this facility and we hope you will consider joining this team!
